Show some Irish pride and test your cooking skills at the Murphysboro St. Patrick’s Day Irish Stew Cookoff.

This year, the Murphysboro Chamber of Commerce will give you a choice of entering either the On-Site or Crockpot competition.

On-Site Competition:
Two member teams will compete on-site in the parking lot across fromBrews Brothers Taproom with traditional Irish stew ingredients. Teams are to provide all their own accommodations, ingredients, and equipment. Blind judging begins at 1pm and on-site judging begins at 2pm. Awards will be announced at 4pm.
Registration by March 10th is $50; after March 10th is $75.
