Mayor Stephens shared an old newspaper flyer about a Pajama Party Sale which happened in Murphysboro over 50 years ago on Facebook yesterday. The comments had people reminiscing of Murphysboro in the good ole days & what fun people used to have on pajama party night. That got us thinking…in the spirit of bringing back the joy of Christmas to our little town, why not recreate this event in 2017?! After all, we feel like our little town is moving in the right direction and that we are starting to catch a glimpse of what the “good ole days” used to look like! So, put on your pajamas & your robes and come on out Friday, December 15th from 5pm to 9pm, enjoy sales with the Unique Shops of Murphysboro, & get your Christmas shopping done!! We’re throwing it back 50 years & it’s gonna be fun!!
