A native of Pana, Crosby said he strives to reflect the lives of everyday people in his narratives, wrapping them in simple melodies with lots of harmonies and excellent musicianship by the band, which includes many local standout players.

“The songs are about winning and losing, crying and laughing…pretty much life,” Crosby said. “I think I’ve been around long enough to have seen some of it now. And while some of the songs get dark, I like to include humor and some hope in them too.“  – Effingham Daily News
